Jill Colloton, DVM

I’ve only been a NAVHDA member since 2009 but have been completely sucked into the versatile dog vortex.  My  excellent mentors in the NCWNAVHDA chapter helped me recognize that my very first Small Munsterlander was a good dog and taught me how to bring out the best in her.  She was ready to hunt at a year of age, qualified for breeding approval by the SM breed club at three years, and went to the Invitational at just 3.5 years.  Without those dedicated mentors I probably would have ended up with little more than a nice pet.  It would be a privilege to pass on some of their wisdom to others.  My husband, Brian, and I live about 23 miles west of Wausau.  We have 50+ acres of training fields and a pond suitable for puppies in spring and early summer.  We often bring our dogs to the Mead training grounds, as well.
