North Central Wisconsin (NCW) NAVHDA is a chapter of the North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association. Our chapter focuses on training and developing exceptional versatile hunting dogs. We welcome new members of all skill levels. We won't train your dog for you, but we are happy to train you how to train your dog. We are a group of upland bird and waterfowl hunters that love hunting with exceptional dogs. We promote conservation, ethical breeding, and good sportsmanship. 

 

Regardless of your skill level and past experience, if you are committed to your dog/s we'd love to work with you. Our group ranges from first time dog owners to experienced breeders and professional trainers, but we all help and learn from each other on a monthly basis from April through August. NAVHDA is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to foster, promote, and improve the versatile hunting dog breeds in North America; to conserve game by using well trained reliable hunting dogs on both land and water; and to aid in the prevention of cruelty to animals by discouraging nonselective and uncontrolled breeding, which produces unwanted and uncared for dogs.​ To join our chapter you must also join NAVHDA International.
